From LeRoy Davidson HOOSIER TO TEST AT BRONSON!! But first, in regards to last nights meeting and the tire & spring rule...for those who could not attend the meeting, the V-8 Bomber class was not discussed so you missed nothing. After Saturday nights race at Desoto that class doesnt seem to be very attractive any more. However, we did come to a conclusion that we will be going to the 12 racing springs front, both sides to be the same wire size, and 12 racing springs rear, both sides to be the same wire size as well. If you run original springs as you have, that is permitted, but if there is any doubt in tech that your spring is not the same year, make and model as your car, you will not be given any consideration and you will be disqualified. The tire rule will stay the same, but all classes (Modified, Sportsman, Street Stock and Pure Stock) will be going to the Hoosier 8 slick @ approximately $115.00 each. This is cheaper, and they will outlast the tires that you presently run. You can buy new or buy take offs, they are all the same tire. This way, those of you that have cars in several classes can now have all your cars on the same tire, just change them from car to car. In addition, it will build a Guaranteed Points Fund, which Im working on now, and everyone will be contributing to it equally. At this time, Hoosier is still testing these tires, and they will be testing here at Bronson the first of December. I will let you know the exact date and time as soon as I know so any of you who would like to be here can come out.
