From Lek Chailert Most of the people who come to visit with us will know that, at the other side of the river opposite us is the trekking camp. Daily we will see a bunch of tourists come to ride the elephant. Sometimes their elephant run to join our herd, and sometimes our herd went to visit them, but most of the time our herd does not get welcomed because when they go they always try to entice the other elephant to escape. Today, while our herd graze in the field we heard the low long voice like screaming in the trekking camp and suddenly our herd was very upset and tried to go inside the camp. They were pushed back because a truck full of Trekkers was stuck in the mud there and It made our herd even more upset. We tried to bring our elephants back but they kept running back. It took maybe 2 hours to settle our families, and we take them back to our property. This is to illustrate to us that the elephant is also thinking, and that they react when they are not satisfied with things around them.full video will show soon
