From Logan: Its been a while since I posted to FB. I have been locked away in the studio for most of the summer, working on the new Emerald Rose cd, taking breaks only to go to work or maybe walk in the woods for a little while. The new cd has been interesting to make. It is a little more rock than one usually hears on our releases. Super special thanks to Junk King Atlanta and friend of the band Harry Van Buren... Harry scavenged a stereo Rode microphone (which makes acoustic guitars sound like recorded heaven) and a freaking Marshall Stack amplifier. I have wanted one of those since I was in high school. Consequently, all the electric guitars on the cd sound like they were recorded in the late 70s... The only reason I am even on Facebook now is because I am waiting to record while Arthur continues recording bodhran on some tracks...
