From Ludwig-Musser Drums and Percussion - Official announcement: We are extremely honored to welcome drummer Brian Tichy to the Ludwig family. Brian comes from an extremely versatile background of musical talents. He is one of the industrys most in demand players today having performed with many iconic acts such as Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol, Foreigner, and Whitesnake… to name a few. Brian has also been involved in educating the percussion community through his studio in California and live via the web, and has recently been on the road with The Dead Daisies. Brian had this to say upon joining the Ludwig family: Alright! What do ya say? You think of drums… you think of the mightiest name in drums since the beginning as far as I, and most others are concerned… and there it is… LUDWIG! The history and legacy is untouched by other drum companies. I am psyched to announce that I am now a full fledged Ludwig drummer! Following in the footsteps of my drum heroes…. playing a brand that I have always been a fan of. This all goes without saying as I have never met a drummer who said anything other than, “Ludwig, yeah, they sound awesome!” The sound, the tones, the look, and the amount of classic recordings Ludwig can be heard on is just amazing!
