From MaryEsther: Please keep praying! UPDATE: Well...we got some good and not so good news today from the PET scan. I will start with the not so good news to get it over with. It was confirmed that he does have spots in BOTH lungs, and of course the liver. The good news is that it is not anywhere else in the body!! Everything is still on schedule as planned. Monday they will do the biopsy and chemo port insertion. Once the biopsy results are in, they will tell us what type of treatment he will get. Treatment could start as early as the next day (Tuesday)..the sooner the better so that we can stop the tumor from spreading anymore. Right now we are praying that the chemo treatment that they do use will work. (There is always a chance it MAY not). We are praying for the spots in the lungs to shrink COMPLETELY and the tumor in the liver to shrink small enough to remove surgically! Again, after today we are mentally and emotionally drained, I feel like I ran a marathon while solving impossible Math problems all day! We are super excited there were no complications with the sedation today and we are ready to face this thing head on. Please continue to pray! Love yall.
