From May 15, 1924 - Barren Countians seem to be taking em as fast as supply permits. This statement is based upon the fact that we have seen close to 100 residences completed or being near to completion since Jan. 1st. In this same period local automobile dealers report the sale of 287 new cars and trucks. This figure does not include used cars, but is the total of brand spankin new cars. Neither does this include the tractors sold by the Neely-Ewing Motor Co., who reported sales of 162 Ford cars and trucks. And too, this does not include cars which have been sold but not delivered, several dealers reporting sales under this heading. Youll have to go to a larger town than Glasgow to show a better record.
