From Mermaid Pose to Pigeon, and a variation of King Pose Here is a brief recap of the past week videos. Note that the final variation of King Pigeon is an adaption for myself to work on my flexibility. Moving into a full King Pigeon requires a flexibility of knees, hips, and spine that allows the practitioner to hold the foot while moving the body into a position where the arm pit(s) are facing the ceiling. Here an important component of yoga philosophy and fun comes into play - acceptance, and creatively making yoga your own.
