From Michael Illes: Alex update. . . .Well, I got home today and went right to the hospital. I have not seen Alex since last Tuesday. What a difference a few days made!! He was hitting a balloon that the therapist was tossing at him, doing a paper, rocks, (but not scissors). When asked, he showed 2, 3, and then 4 fingers. Tonight, he held on to my hand, but when I had my hand the wrong way, he himself changed it to what he wanted. Small miracles!! Maybe I should stay away for a few more days!!
