From Mike Evans the founder of the Jerusalem Prayer Team Hebrews 11:1 says, Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. As I read this verse today, I felt the Lord wanted me to encourage you to ask Him today for the gift of faith. God gave me this prominent gift in which Jesus operated, and He wants to give it to you as well! The word substance in the Greek means set or placed under something. Hoped for means a joyful expectation, and evidence means solid, compelling proof. The Greek word that defines faith means divine persuasion. Operate in faith, and step out in faith today. This is the gift that turns Gods head and moves His hand. I can almost see God smiling as He says, Thats My boy! Thats My girl! They are walking in faith!
