From Mike Nix: Sixty nine years ago today, the combined Allied Forces under the command of general Dwight Eisenhower stormed the beaches of Normandy, France. This was the beginning of the D-Day Invasion, the largest military amphibious landing ever attempted. This event signalled the beginning of the end of WWII in Europe. Please pause and thank those brave men who participated in that event.
