From Ministry of Works: TEMPORARY TRAFFIC DISRUPTION SOLOMON HOCHOY HIGHWAY (NORTHBOUND) The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure wishes to advise the general public that there will be a temporary disruption in traffic along the Solomon Hochoy Highway (Northbound) from the Claxton Bay Interchange to Couva. Works is will commence on Thursday 6th November between the hours of 7:00p.m and 4:00a.m and continue for 10 days, ending Saturday 15th November, 2014. This is necessary in order to facilitate milling and paving works. In light of the above, motorists are advised to comply with the following:- > Please proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers. > Please comply with instructions from Police Officers on site to facilitate the safe flow of traffic in an orderly manner. > Please be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site. > Please drive with caution on all milled (possibly uneven) surfaces. > Motorists should drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone. The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure regrets any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for its cooperation.
