From Mommy: For us, today marked the beginning of our miracle: the day we received The Call. However, for Audrees Donor Family, this day marked the anniversary of their babys passing and a reminder of yet another year without their child. 2 years ago this precious family sat in a hospital room, their hearts breaking into a million pieces, as they said their last goodbyes and gave their last kisses to their sweet little angel baby. I do not know how long they had to prepare for that moment... but I can imagine that no amount of time is ever enough to fully prepare for that devastating reality. One thing I do know for certain is that from the moment we learned of their situation, they were covered in thousands of prayers from around the world. God hears and answers the prayers of His people. So I know that God was also there to provide peace, comfort and strength. And as the very second that Audrees Donor Angel left this world, his or her eternity began in the presence of God where there is no more pain, no more sorrow, and no more death. My prayer is that in their grief, this family finds hope, peace and joy in knowing that they provided a miraculous gift of life to our Audree Rose.
