From Mt. Pleasant Police: Gas line break prompts evacuation: The contractor working on the Broadway Street project has it hit a gas main at Broadway and Henry. The affected residents are being/have been evacuated. We have contacted emergency Miss Dig from DTE/MichCon for this repair. It is unknown how long the repair will take. We are requesting people to stay a block away from the Intersection of Broadway and Henry at this time. Mt. Pleasant Fire and Mt. Pleasant Department of Public Works are currently working on the resolving the problem.
