From NOAA - ...River flooding possible in central and southern Indiana... River flooding may develop from late Wednesday through Saturday in central and southern Indiana. At this time it is uncertain the degree of flooding that will occur. Heavy rainfall...possibly exceeding 3 inches...is possible on Wednesday. Significant flooding may develop in a few areas. After a dry ending to May...portions of central Indiana received more than 2 inches of rain since the beginning of June. Localized flooding followed and rivers were showing some response to the recent rain. Significant river flooding impacts numerous local and state roads...extensive agricultural lands and some residential areas. Local concerns should monitor weather and river conditions through Saturday. Flooding is a possibility...not a certainty. Flood warnings will be issued as more information becomes available.
