From Next week onwards we wiil be at World Urban Forum in Medellin, Colombia (4-11 April). Together with my team we will be coordinating the Universities Roundtable as well as the Urban Researchers Roundtable, and 30 training events given by world class institutions. I will also be conductong a program with the Lincoln Instiute of Lan Policy and Ihs Rotterdam on land and housing markets. We are also organizing two sessions with the World Bank Institute, IHS and other global and national institutions that work in supporting city governments. At the booth 33 of the Habitat UNI, which is our partnership with 149 universities from around the globe, we will also hold an intensive and exciting program, launching the Global Urban Lecture Series and hosting many universities presentations. For UN-Habitat and our partners, the WUF has become the premier gathering of those who work, think, write, legislate, invest and do research on urbanization.
