From Officer Whitten.... Dear Mr. Capps, I am in receipt of your e-mails regarding the vacate property located at 11425 S. Champlain. Initially, I contacted Safe Guard Properties because the mortgage was being held by Bank of America and Safe Guard Properties does their property preservation. They confirmed the property would be serviced and agreed to board-up the property. However, after waiting several weeks to confirm violation compliance nothing had been done. I again contacted Safe Guard Properties only to find out they no longer serviced this property. I have since found the correct mortgage holders which is Ocwen Loan Service and they are currently in the process to correct the property violations. As previous mentioned, mortgage companies are not required to record the deed which makes it even more difficult to track them down.
