From “PC” Morning By Morning…………………….. Today’s Seed To Sow: “Handle With Care!” Each time we study the Word of GOD, spend time in prayer, participate in the worship session at church and even while we mediate on the daily word, we are utilizing yet another opportunity to know JESUS more. The more of HIM we know through HIS word, the more our faith can GROW exceedingly, until we can say like Paul, that we are fully persuaded of the person, POWER and integrity of Christ even in the midst of adversity. Therefore, give more attention to knowing HIM more today through HIS WORD! Looking at John’s submission in our text today, he talks about having had intimate fellowship with JESUS, the WORD of life. Little wonder then that not even the boiling pot of oil or the Island of Patmos could make him deny CHRIST. His faith in God could not be shaken by circumstances because he had first-hand experience of who JESUS really is. The STRENGTH of our faith is hinged on the DEPTH of knowledge we have of HIM. This knowledge can only be attained through intimate fellowship with the LORD: what John calls “handling”. As we fellowship with the LORD and go for deeper intimacy with HIM, we would experience the power of exceeding growing faith.
