From Paul Dorr Former Iowa Huckabee promoter involved in Arkansas - TopicsExpress

From Paul Dorr Former Iowa Huckabee promoter involved in Arkansas judicial corruption. Huckabee did Robo calls for one of the promoters clients. In December of 2007, as a staff member for Ron Paul 2008, I arranged for Senator Jim Holt of Arkansas, and one other local elected Arkansas Republican, to come to Iowa and tour the state talk-radio circuit and expose former Governor Mike Huckabee for his track record of betraying conservative Christians - one that was well established in their state. Both legislators I hosted were passionate Christians and Holt was/is the father of nine (if memory serves correctly) who he and his wife home-school(ed). Talk shows in Sioux City, Cedar Rapids and Davenport let them on the air, unfettered, to say their piece and field phone calls. But the two conservative Des Moines talk show hosts would only let Jim (and his colleague) on the air, as long as they shared the studio with two Arkansas Republican politicians who were promoting Huckabee. The result: the Des Moines radio shows were reduced to three ring circuses. One of the evangelical Republican Senators up from Arkansas to defend Huckabee (in the studio that day) was a guy named Gilbert Baker. Listening to him on the air and watching him in the studio I concluded he was a double-tongued snake. Now Gilbert Baker is being named as one who, while campaigning for judicial reform, arranged for a judge to throw a verdict/judgment for a corporate client of Bakers, in lieu of future campaign support for the judge who was seeking the state Appellate Court. Bakers corporate client funded the backing of other Baker-picked judicial candidates, as well. One was elected to the Arkansas Supreme Court, Rhonda Wood. Huckabee, himself, did robo calls for Wood. Looks like Baker was being rewarded for his loyalty to phony Huckster. Ill keep an eye out and see if Baker will be going to jail, too.
