From Paula Buker in a neighborhood near us!! Not our house A man rang our doorbell at 7:30 (dark out and we did not have our porch or drive lights on yet)....4 dogs barking did not deter him. Only light on that he could see was in our front office. My daughter answered the door before I could tell her not to. He was a black man of avg height and weight, wearing dark clothing and a white cap on his head. My daughter said he had a blonde girl with him. He was trying to sell roofing (again, after dark).....my daughter politely told him sorry we are not interested and there is no soliciting in HM - pointing to a sign at our front door. I called the non ER police number and reported it. They are sending a cruiser through the neighborhood. If he rings your bell, please call this number (770.513.5100) and report it so that they might be able to catch up with him. 4-5 cruisers out in front of our neighbors house. Got 3 men and 1 woman. Said they had lots of calls in past week, and told my neighbor they were writing up citations for them to go before a judge.
