From Petersburg Schools: Community Partners Donate Hundreds of Holiday Gifts to Petersburg Students Petersburg- Numerous community partners reached out to make the holiday season brighter for Petersburg City Public Schools (PCPS) students. Community partner, Johnson Controls, donated dozens of gifts to one Petersburg schools family who is currently displaced from their home. The company provided all items on the kids’ wish list. Community partner, Omega Psi Phi, delivered 2 vans filled with toys to A.P. Hill and Walnut Hill Elementary Schools. Thanks to Post 622 Veterans of Foreign Wars – all students at Westview Early Childhood Education Center received a holiday gift. The Petersburg Chapter of Links Incorporated -- presented the principal of Robert E. Lee Elementary, Mrs. Barbara Patterson, with a gift card of $500.00 to give to a student’s family to assist with the purchase of holiday gifts. PCPS would like to thank all of its partners for their continued support. ###
