From Port Acres: Suzanne “Sue” Breaux, 79, of Port Acres died Thursday, August 15, 2013. She was born on July 2, 1934, to Eva and Cleophus Dupuis, in Cecilia, Louisiana, and had been a resident of Port Acres area since 1952. Sue spent most of her life being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She lived life to the fullest traveling with friends and enjoying family functions as often as possible. In recent years, she could be found wherever her grandchildren were. Sue took pride in caring for her grandchildren and enjoyed cheering from the stands at their sporting events. She became “Maw Maw” to all who knew her. Sue will be remembered for her genuine, loving heart, and her famous Cajun cooking. She is survived by her husband, Calvin J. Breaux, Sr.; daughter, Gail Garrett and her husband, Clyde; sons, Jeff Breaux and Greg Breaux of Port Acres, Dale Breaux and C. J. Breaux and his wife, Jennie, of Nederland; grandchildren, Derrick Breaux, Angelique Julian, Aaron Breaux, Kristen Breaux, Tiffanie Cruz, Cory Garrett, Judd Barron, Curtis Benoit, Haley Breaux, and Trevor Breaux; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Peyton, Audrey, Cosette, Giovanna, Jean-Paul, Slade, Hunter, Jase, and her pride and joy, Little Bit; sisters, Eunice Breaux, Florine Thibodeaux, Margaret Breaux, and Annette Quebodeaux and her husband, Lloyd.
