From Principal Richards... Congrats to our Marching Band for earning an Excellent rating at State contest in Dayton on Sunday. I believe it was their best performance of the season!! Reminder that parent/teacher conferences are tomorrow night. We would love to have you attend to find out progress about your student. You can sign up for conferences on the high school website, or by calling the school. Finally, we will again have our Parent Forum at 7:00 in the library tomorrow after conferences. This is an opportunity for parents to give input regarding the direction of our school. Past topics have been school uniforms and random drug testing, however, other topics are welcome!!! This should last no longer than 1 hour. I hope to see you there! Proud to be your Principal, Ben Richards ATTENTION SENIOR ATHLETES Don’t miss this great opportunity!! Please stop by the Guidance Office and pick up an application for the Dale Mowery Scholarship sponsored by the Watkins Athletic Association. The application instructions are easy to follow and 2 athletes will be awarded $1000.00 for their college choice. Again…. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity with this special scholarship. Applications are in the Guidance office and are due back in the guidance office by April 23rd by 2:30pm. Many schools have a priority deadline of December 1 to be considered for university scholarships and others don’t have a deadline until much later. Make sure you check deadlines with the schools you are interested in so you don’t miss out on scholarships and other financial aid just because you missed a deadline. There are no extensions on deadlines when it comes to college admission and financial aid! Senior Trip: Dont be left at school. We still have a few spots to fill on the bus to Saint Louis.
