From Rebel Whitaker: Well this is what I heard on the porch tonight and my I-Paw is not working so had to sneak Fat farm wifes dumb phone...35 years ago the grumpy dairy farmer and fat farm wife began their journey of being dairy farmers...the first milking consisted of 17 cows and fat farm wife put the first milkers on, she was 7 months pregnant with Crystal Whitaker Purvisand had a cast on her arm because she fell thru a plate glass window cleaning the barn..this had to be one of the happiest days of the grumpy dairy farmers life...he was living his dream...they have cried tears over lost crops/ dead cows/ financial problems/ labor issues/ broken equipment/ you name it... But they also have lived life to its fullest by having great friends all over the country/ amazing trips to cow sells/ land to host their yearly dove shoot/ a support system of family and friends that compare to none!!!! They have been blessed with 3 level headed children and perfect grandchildren (all 4 of them)...Grumpy dairy farmer missed a lot of his childrens ball games/cheering/ tennis/ because this farm required so much of him... He has truly given his life to a Holstein cow and the fat farm wife settled for the leftovers...would she do it all over again for another 35??? Absolutely because God put her there for a reason: to share his heartaches/ to enjoy his laughs/ to love this piece of dirt with all her heart and soul...Happy Anniversary to Whitaker Farm!!! Love to all!!
