Also those who eat, eat in honor of the Lord, since they give thanks to God. ~Romans 14:6 Todays Affirmation: I gratefully give thanks for all that I am. Todays Meditation Dear God, Together, we feel Your presence and power in us and though us. We give thanks for this community of prayerful, thoughtful people who gather together in a consciousness of love each day. We are thankful for Your spirit, which is the life we share. We are thankful for the Earth and the food that grows abundantly. We are thankful for the waters of our planet, which refresh and sustain us. We are thankful for the air we breathe. We are grateful for our lives and trust that every experience is part of the process of our unfolding into higher realms of expression. We set our intention that this Holiday season be truly a Holy Time. We take this opportunity to reflect on our blessings and we commit ourselves to being the people You created us to be. On this Thanksgiving Day, we expand our minds and open our hearts to You and to each other. We bless all those unsung heroes who are at work today: fire fighters, peace officers, our service men and women, medical people and emergency technicians. We appreciate the bounty that we enjoy and we look forward with hope to the end of lack, suffering and limitations of every kind. In Your name, we bless the Earth and her peoples. Thank You.
