His win in The Citadel match against the 12th ranked wrestler in the nation gave Rider a 10-6 lead and his win against Virginia gave Rider a 9-6 lead. “Chad beat the kid from Citadel who is ranked high,” Taylor said. Walsh improved to 18-5 on the season, 8-2 in duals. “Chad and Chuck each had a pretty good day,” Taylor said. Senior Chuck Zeisloft (Woodbury Heights, NJ/Gateway) won all three of his matches. Against Virginia he cut the UVa lead to 6-3. Junior Greg Velasco (Union Beach, NJ/Keyport) won twice before winning by forfeit. Junior Curt Delia (Mullica Hill, NJ/Delsea) saw his first action of the season and won by tech fall in the first period against The Citadel. “Curt was winning solid in the Arizona State match and got pinned,” Taylor said. Delia went 1-2 on the day. Freshman B.J. Clagon (Toms River, NJ/Toms River South) went 1-2. In the dual meet with Virginia, Clagon won to tie the score at 6-6.
