From SA Police News. The South Australian Police are targeting road behavior that threatens the lives of riders. This covers all vehicles and is not just about the riders. We are hoping that, although the language used in this report doesnt offer strong hope, the police will be keeping a closer eye on the four wheeled variety closer also. Two highlights from this 6 minute clip to point out: Riders in South Australia over 16 can earn demerit points. And overwhelming sense that the police feel riders think are above the law. Riding in Adelaide is an interesting task, with all the part time bikelanes that have cars parked in them during the day, trouble is the roads are so narrow there is not enough room to do much more. We really hope the riders get to actually enjoy and see some benefits from this police action. It would be good to hear stories of the most vulnerable users on our roads were looked after by the police there to protect them. So, what do you think of the media release?
