From SUNTONES: Published on Jan 26, 2014 Todd Wilson: I ran across this 16 MM film that was not stored properly and broken in a couple unfortunate areas. I sure miss the good old days! That sound is so unique and pure to me. Make no mistake.... I love the new sound too! Even though I was 5 in 64 I remember hearing the Auto Towners rehearsing downstairs at our home in Detroit. I knew I was going to be a barbershopper when I was young and Joined the Society when I was 12 singing with the Coastmen Chorus in 1973. Sorry, I dont know the other quartets. Only the Suntones and 4 Renegades, LEO ADDS: The Main Street Four are in the car: Dave Mittelstadt Lead, Bob Royce Bari, Fred Kirberger Tenor, and Dick Florsheimer Bass, all Dapper Dans of Harmony (Livingston, NJ). And thats Dr. Bob Johnson directing Keep America Singing. Thank you for sharing!
