From Sam Mercado. I and Ted Aquino, we both believe in UFOs. In my case, I cannot forget what I saw in Samar, in the early morning, when I was 7 or 8 years old. I was looking towards the Northern-Eastern skies. First, I saw a cluster of stars, 5 or more. They were stationery, motionless. Then with my sight still focused on them, they re-arranged themselves, then zoomed to the Eastern skies, where the sun was about to rise. I keep on asking these questions to myself: There are how many Island Universes? How many galaxies, how many solar systems, how many suns of all types, how many planets like earth? Two nights ago, I was watching this esoteric program. I think it is entitled Ancient Aliens. One commentator was saying that more and more UFOs are being seen these days. They are seen when volcanoes erupt. One UFO was hovering in Fukushima when the deadly Tsunami was destroying that part of Japan. And in World War I and World War II there were many UFOs. And here in the Internet there was an article in which World War III was being discussed. Here is Putin, boasting about his 5,000 Nuclear bombs; and blaming America for the state of the world. Here is China trying to dominate Asia. And as Mark Sereno Alegre has noticed, China has invented a nuclear submarine. And Japan definitely readying to defend itself with atom bombs. Then Global Warming. Then our Bopha, Ondoy, Sendong, and our beloved Evelyn Lo Castillo dealing with the impact of Haiyan. Massive drought in California that will impact food production and water, which provides life. Until now, water is being rationed in California. Volcanic activities in Japan, near Fukushima. Statements of scientists on the Super Volcano in Yellowstone Park. And The Big One finally waking up in California, in the San Francisco Bay Area? Morbid thoughts, scary, and crazy.
