From Sanne Smit.....Sderot (an Israeli town near Gaza) is glad the IDF was sent into Gaza to kill all the monsters there, so nobody could threaten them anymore through this amazing network of tunnels... I picture these small cities just outside Gaza as the cities where the nazi commanders had to live who worked in the concentration camps like in the movie The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. The German boy also looked into the ghetto like the people look into Gaza as if it is a game and he also wants to play inside because outside it is boring. He is told a different story of what happens inside the camp by his father (the commander) as the horrific truth is too harsh to hear. The same as the below story really: The people are fed some kind of fantasy. Some kind of fear for monsters and tunnels, and they are glad the army is going to protect them, they see the fires and flames at night and celebrate as the monsters are destroyed...They are just not aware of the reality of the crimes against humanity that have taken place....Night after night after night...
