From Tampa Police Department: At 1:07 AM this morning, the driver of a 2000 Toyota Camry was travelling northbound on N. Nebraska Ave when she fell asleep, left the roadway and struck a telephone pole at N. Nebraska Ave & E. Bryan Street. The pole was subsequently broken off at the base and was being suspended by the overhead hanging wires. TECO responded and advised that the pole was not repairable and would have to be replaced. Due to the traffic hazard of the low hanging wires, N. Nebraska Ave is currently closed to all vehicular traffic from E. 19th Ave. to E. Forest St.
