From The Boss, It is with great sadness that the oldest of our winery dogs Mij died last night. Mijy the Jack Russel has been with the family for around 13 years and beat cancer around 5 years ago, but it did get him in the end. He had a personality all of his own and I got used to him melting peoples hearts when he would sit up and beg on his hind quarters. Even people that werent that keen on dogs fell for Mij. When Jan and I met around 8 years ago he instantly had a bond with Jan and was absolutely devoted to her right up to the end, he would sit and wait for her on the driveway to come home, even when she was in England. He was a great mate and comfort to me through some hard times of life in his early days, and was loved dearly by my two girls as well. He will always have a very special place in Quite a few hearts and was loved right up to the end....
