From The Greeley Tribune: If you like Zumba and want to do - TopicsExpress

From The Greeley Tribune: If you like Zumba and want to do some good, we’ve got an opportunity for you. A group of Zumba enthusiasts headed by Sue Carter, who is a Zumba instructor, will hold an event to benefit Natalya Perrin. The 47-year-old was found by Evans police in mid-November after she was shot in the head by her husband, Richard, 61. Richard also shot and killed her daughter, Danika, 17, before killing himself. Her friends, including Carter, call Perrin a survivor, and they mean that in many ways. She is recuperating at a rehabilitation hospital and hopes to be home soon. She does not have severe brain damage and may not have any, said Carter, who has spent a lot of time with her, but Perrin was blinded from the shooting. If there’s a chance she’ll get any sight back, it will only be in one eye. Perrin is also grieving for her lost loved ones. The class will take place from 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday at The Garage Downtown, 1100 8th Ave. It’s a glow party featuring the music of Pitbull. So it’s more of a fun event, a night out, than a workout. Admission is $10 although patrons can donate more if they wish. If you’re up for it, we hope you’ll go. We also think it’s great to see the community come together to help one of their own.
