From The Principals desk Dear Parents Cir-056-2014-15 I would like to clarify to you the incident of 2011, with regard to the recent disturbing incident. Mustafa’s services were terminated on account of ‘gross misconduct’- of altercations with senior staff of the School, not following policies, frequent angry outbursts, harsh language with children, pulling/holding a girl child by her hand, while teaching skating –all of which do not amount to acts that require a person to being turned over to the police! Moreover, none of these instances were registered as a complaint from a parent or a student, but only what his seniors and I had noticed/felt (my gut feeling). But these are definitely acts that the School does not condone. Misconduct and violation of its policies with regard to students and staff are serious offences from our view at Deens. On termination, no document of service or reference was given to him. Deens has at all times displayed an approachability that underlines the partnership that we forge upon your child becoming a part of this family. It is distressing to note the whiff of skepticism in sporadic pockets, willing to forego a relationship that we have built together, by misinterpreting circumstances, which caused the expulsion of Mustafa. This pains me personally – your child has been handed over to me with trust!!! I would greatly appreciate your collective display of trust in your childs school, in this trying period.
