(Olsen) Mark 1928-2013 Posted: Friday, December 27, 2013 8:41 pm MARSEILLES — Barbara Bell (Olsen) Mark, 85, of rural Marseilles, died Friday, Dec. 27, at Rivershores Healthcare and Rehabilitation Centre in Marseilles. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Marseilles with the Rev. William Chormann, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the services Monday at the church. Arrangements are through Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa. Barbara was born on Aug. 1, 1928, in Ottawa, to Herman Dutch and Isabelle (Peddicord) Olsen. She was raised by her aunt and uncle, Bertha and Will Schuette, of Brookfield Township. Barbara was a 1946 graduate of Marseilles High School. She worked at Nabisco and Dan Jac in Marseilles until her retirement. She married Virgil Mark on March 31, 1951, in Pontiac. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Marseilles Boat Club. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; one sister, Eleanor Olsen Repko; and four brothers, Herman, Robert, James and Paul Olsen. Memorials may be directed to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Pallbearers will be Tom and Beckie Kelly, Steve and Amy King, Bob and Pat Riley, Dennis and Kathy Enstrom, Gene and Kathy Olsen, Chuck and Carol Bolatto and Sandy Mitchell.
