From Townsite update 1330 (1:30pm): The river has not risen since the last update. Power remains on. Reinforcement of the berm on Redwood Meadows Drive is holding and we have additional crews prepared to work through the evening. Currently there are over 10 dump trucks, 4 bulldozers and 3 track-hoes working on that one patch with over 50 loads of clay, rip rap, cement blocks and pitrun dumped there just since this morning. There are 3 different crews working on the berm with additional reinforcements from the Tsuu T’ina Nation. There is also a crew of 25 SRD personnel from Grande Prairie helping out. Recent reports suggest that the lake at Wintergreen is about to breach and crews are preparing for a surge. Stay tuned for more updates.
