From a Fellow TBI THRIVER... As a medically retired felony - TopicsExpress

From a Fellow TBI THRIVER... As a medically retired felony probation and parole officer in Hillsborough County I see this as a tremendous HEALTH and CRIME problem. More than 60% have undiagnosed brain injuries when they commit the felony that send them to prison the first time. When these brain injuries go undiagnosed or unnoticed by family and friends 70 % of them end up in prison. These undiagnosed brain injuries that cause crime, you have the power to prevent. Our beloved Veterans and NFL players are damaging their brains! Science has proved that medical cannabis is our new HOPE! My name is Debbie Wilson and I am a 2 time TBI survivor and now have had uncontrolled seizures for 23 years. My seizures are being controlled for the very FIRST time on medical cannabis, but my family had to move across the country, to get access to what I needed! It tames our seizures, anger and rage. Please gift the gift of HOPE to some of the most hopeless and hurting people I have ever had the honor of walking among! Please in the name of humanity vote yes for amendment 2. Protect those in need because that is the only humane thing to do! We Thank You from the voices of those that live with TBI. We are the forgotten we need you to vote 2.
