From a World Mission national partner. We returned safely from North Cameroun yesterday evening. We had a safe trip and very good meetings. The situation in North Cameroun is still needing much prayer. The growth of the church groups in the extreme North Cameroun has been greatly slowed down. In the Mandara Mountains and in the Logone Chari many churches have closed down due to having been burned down or because their members have fled at the risk of their lives. There are over 20,000 Nigerian refugees—many of them Christians. They are traumatized and helpless: malnourished and with a shortage of drinking water. In the Refugee Camp there are two water fountains for 15,000 people. We are concerned with those struggling areas and with the thousands of villages that have never had churches. There are so many unreached people yet to be reached. Please do continue to pray for the Cameroun Crisis Management Team (CMT) with whom we work. They are out now ministering comfort and relief to the many. They need protection, God’s leading and provision. My health has been also an issue of concern. Pray for me. We are also planning training for the CMT of Chad and Cameroun, and for the missionaries, on how to plant and grow the Church in times like these. We need your prayers.
