From a discussion in the Sierra Chest group Troels Pleimert was asking about the first SCI game to support the Roland MT-32 Sound Module. This is of course KQ4, but it spawned a wider discussion about early SCI sounds. Ken Allen mentioned doing sound effects for Code Name: Iceman for the Tandy. Much like the PCjr, the Tandy had a three voice music plus one noise channel sound capability. I made some recordings of the intro and a couple of early scenes in Code Name: Iceman for comparison of the three PC versions of the sound. Disclaimer: These are recorded in DOSBox using the Tandy and Ad Lib emulation, which is pretty close. Peter has always placed a high priority on the sound emulation in the DOSBox development. The Roland tracks are recorded from my real MT-32 sound module. Here is the first one; the intro with Tandy: https://youtube/watch?v=9PzhtZDtiok
