From a fan Fan Question: I need advice on how to deal with my husbands ex-wife. My husband and I have both been married previously, but our relationships with our exes are the complete opposite. My ex husband and his current wife are completely civil and we can discuss anything we need to, and treat one another with respect. My husbands ex wife on the other hand, seems to enjoy causing trouble on a regular basis. Her newest arguments are about their sons involvement with my kids and myself. For over two years we have had our weekends with all the kids at the same time (my kids see their dad every other weekend and my husband has his son every other weekend) Weve made a point to have weekends with everyone together so we can do things as a complete family. Out of the blue she informed us that she swapped weekends with us without consulting us at all. And on top of that she doesnt want their son around me, calling me mom, or being disciplined by me. Seeing as I have such a working relationship with my exes new wife, I cant fathom her issues. My children view their step parents as their parent. I encourage their step mom to be a parent to them. I just need advice on how to proceed with this woman. She is trying to deny his visitation from now on unless myself and my kids are gone. We have nowhere we could just pack up and go to every other weekend, but I also dont want to be the reason he isnt able to see his son.
