From a fan: Firstly, congratulations on a wonderful season! I also hope I’m sending this to the proper email! I loved the Blue Stars show for many reason this year, but the biggest was the way that it hit me emotionally. I grew up the child of a soldier. I have lived in three different states, attended eight different schools, and lived in seven different houses. We did not move into our last house until I was fourteen. Because of this, I came to realize that a home is not a building with four walls and a roof. We had moved in and out of too many of those for that to be the definition of home. Our whole lives were shoved into boxes that wouldn’t be completely unpacked until I graduated high school. My surroundings were always temporary to me. My bedrooms had always been previously occupied. Up until our last move, the houses we lived in were never truly ours. So home has always had a different definition for me. I couldn’t just view it as where I lived, because I always knew that could change. Home had to mean where I felt safe and loved. It had to mean where my parents and sister and dogs were. We had to make all these places our home. I cannot watch this show without crying, simply because it means so much to me. The title says it all. Home isn’t an address, a zip code, or a building. It really is where the heart is. Again, congratulations on a great season and thank you so much for your part in bringing this show to the field. It meant so much to me. -Amber
