From a fluffball husky who went nose to nose with Dharma on his first day here, Dusty never liked to be held, or have his picture taken - so I present the smallest photo album ever of our beloved wolf hybrid who went peacefully to sleep tonight after a short struggle with severe neurological failure - he could only stare at the hilltop where he used to be King of the Back Yard, and could barely walk out the back door....hes a peace. He taught me more about respecting wildlife, with his wolf traits strong (see: no pictures, aka soul stealing) and his devotion to our family unshaken. The last pic was taken on the sly by me holding my camera over my head from the desk chair, where my office mates - Dusty as the old wise man losing his hair (hed never let us brush him) sharing the couch with the hungover little brother passed out next to him wearing his Who Farted? t-shirt. Loved that pup with all my heart. See you on the other side.
