From a member, "Hi, Am 30 years old and a single mum of one gal aged 8. I got pregnant while in college and the father to my baby was my college mate, after completing our studies,we went separate ways, and after 1 year of tracing him,i found out that he was married, he neither calls to know how the gal is doing nor give any support. But i have a well paying job and i thank God for that. I stay with my 3 siblings, i pay their school fees, cloth them and take care of everything plus my own daughter since my parents have retired. I have been in a number of relationships that would only lead to not more than 3 months of marriage although i have been soo keen on my health and i have always done HIV tests with all the men i have dated, in my last relationship, i found a man who introduced me to his parents and after a short while we broke up, we were planning for a wedding but one day the man just woke up and asked me to park my things and leave, i have never known where the problem was up to date. At one point i stayed with a man who would not support me with anything, i would pay rent, buy food and cloth him although he had a job. His money was for clubbing and buying goodies for himself, and he dint like my daughter at all. I have most of the time fallen prey of dishing out my money to men in the name of love. Last month i got a born again friend who introduced me to her church, the pastor has been soo close to me in terms of prayer and encouragement, i repented my sins and got deliverance, am now a born again Christian and of late i have been soo prayerful. Am not in any relationship now but am feeling soo lonely and i feel like time is not on my side as am becoming old. Please help me understand how to overcome this and settle down with a God fearing man." What advice can you give her? Please use biblical references if possible. No Judgmental comments, please.
