From a member: Just some poetry. I write when things are not right. it helps me. Anyway, here it is....... dont know about God. I tell you what I DO believe in though. I believe in Art. In whatever way it is expressed. I believe in Spiced Rum. That is the elixir of all bad things life can throw at anyone. I believe in guns. A 9mm and a 410 rifle are all anyone needs to survive. I believe in fried chicken. A plate of fried chicken wings with some hot sauce and ranch dressing can make the grumpiest of people smile. I believe in steak. I believe in steak because cows are the greatest meat in the world and I am lactose intolerant. I believe in chickens. Chickens are the second greatest meat in the world and eggs are the best thing since strap ons. I believe in FACEBOOK. I believe because you are actually reading this entire post! I believe in America. I have to believe. I have to believe because if I didnt, I would have no choice but to kill myself. I believe in my president. I have to believe because I dont want to kill myself. I want to live. I want to believe that everything I have believed is true. I want to believe that I am strong. I am a soldier. I am a heroin. I fought to believe I am an American. I am not just black. I am not just gay. I am not just a woman. I am an AMERICAN. I fought for every today and tomorrow. I believe, because if I dont, I will not see tomorrow.
