From a momma: My son is 5. He was started on Ceptoheptadine (Periactin) a month ago. He takes it 5 nights a week then takes a break for 2 days. So on 5 days off 2. He has twice now gotten really bad headaches the day after the 5th dose. He has a weight check this week so I will check with the nurse but wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I hate to stop the medicine because he has been eating more (we are in the process of weaning off the g-tube) but the first time his headache was so bad he vomited. Thanks!
