From a mum: My 11 year old is having what we think are panic attacks, tight butterflies feels like vomiting, shaking, upset, emotional, doesnt like noise, doesnt want to go to school. We took him to the GP (first few times I thought he had a tummy bug) he sent us for a CT scan, and did a physical. Couldnt find anything. We went to the school, they have been great! Son had several end of year assessments (has audio processing memory disorder, so struggles in class at times) School has put in a lot of support strategies and he has now finished tests. Son seemed to be doing well until late last night, he said he couldnt sleep and again having a panic attack. He cant pinpoint a reason, he has said he just cant relax. My question is how can I support him through this?
