From a recent discussion elsewhere: As for a strategy of terror against the terrorist bosses: workers eventually lose out in such a test of wills -- for a number of reasons. First one being the *substitution* of the will of a few for the harder job of organizing mass resistance: the usual -- *and proper* -- complaint against adventurism and Blanquism. The PROPER strategy OTOH, is *to _resist_ the terrorism of the bosses* in DEFENDING _your gains_ and _your ability to withdraw your labor-power, en masse_. NO ONE reasonable will fault workers for breaking the heads of goons who have come to break THEIRS. So a GENERAL STRIKE could EASILY turn into an all-out REVOLUTION, for instance. And in such a showdown (or even a lesser one) -- where a mass struggle HAS the TOTAL support of most of the working-class -- ARMED STRUGGLE METHODS *will* then have likewise support.
