From a recent grad of our 3rd year PRAC Online program (great news for our UK contingent thinking about doing teh cousnellor training program stream):: I have now been accepted as a member of the UK’s National Council of Psychotherapists! YAAAY! I have been entered into their register and can now use the letter MNCP after my name. So ground-breaking moment in CM history! lol The First PRAC Online Grad to be formally recognised by UK institutions?! Through NCP I have also been able to source indemnity insurance. After a minimum of 3 years practice and at least 150 hours of supervised practice post qualification I am eligible to apply for accredited membership and use letters MNCP (Accred). So this is good news for PRAC graduates here in Europe – based on my example already there would seem to be one route through which they can be formally recognised and go on to legitimately and responsibly operate as a counsellor.
