From a running friend of mine :let me know if you have some used glasses. My daughter, Tracy is in Physician Assistant school at Arcadia University and her class will be traveling to Nicaragua in March, 2015 as part of a medical service project through Global Brigades. They will be aiding doctors, PAs, and other healthcare professionals in providing medical care to underserved communities. As part of their project they’ll be collecting used eyeglasses to take to these very needy people. Her professor has traveled there previously and expressed to the class the sheer joy many of the patients experienced when they were handed a pair of glasses to help them see clearly for the first time.
