From a thankful family today: Hi, Just wanted to let you all know that beautiful Lacey was put to rest yesterday after developing an aggressive form of bone cancer. Not sure if someone on staff remembers her, but she was the sweet chocolate 9 year old lab you all had featured on Seven Days three short years ago. We want to thank you for walking her down Church Street that day I met her. My family was so lucky to have had her as a part of our lives. She found love, warmth and comfort with us. And we found love and warmth with her. We will miss her dearly. Thank you for all that you all do for our sweet animals. Sincerely, The MacPhersons .
