From a veteran leading member: In my opinion, as dealing with this issue for now 2 decades, everybody involved, each parent, the judge, social workers, have a different take on what is in the best interest of the child. Intact couples dont always agree on what is in the best interest of the child. The Adrian Peterson debacle actually shows a glimpse into what extreme one person believes is in the best interest of the child. I remember growing up parents respected the right of other parents to raise and discipline their children as they see fit even when they believed the parenting was wrong or abusive. But the unalienable right to raise our children as we choose or see fit has been taken away from us.
